Warehouse Worker
Door Services Corporation is a business unit of Horton Automatics, an Overhead Door Corporation company. Door Services offers installation and maintenance of the doors manufactured by Horton Automatics (commercial sliders, optical turnstyles, revolving doors, swinging / folding doors, etc.)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fabricating doors and door parts to meet exact customer specifications and/or modifications.
- Monitors inventory by completing counts as required and entering information into Oracle system.
- Receives materials, tools, equipment and products into inventory using Oracle system.
- Stores products in designated storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to installation requirements and updating in Oracle database.
- Pulling all materials and loading trucks for upcoming jobs, ensuring items are transferred to the proper MOB in Oracle.
- Delivering doors and materials to Installers on job sites as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean and productive work environment for self and other team members.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in warehouse environment is required.
- Prior fabrication experience required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess computer proficiency in MS Office and ERP system (Oracle preferred).
- Must perform well under stress and have the ability to multitask
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate basic math and read a tape measure.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Comments:
- Understand the safe use of equipment and tools in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Need to be mechanically inclined.
- Capable of working at heights to service doors and operators using ladders
- Driving record must be acceptable to insurance company.
