The Position – Vice President / General Manager OHD Parts:

This key role will report directly to the CEO of our $1.1B company.  The Vice President / General Manager of OHD Parts will be a hands-on leader with significant general manager experience in a sales center / distribution environment to oversee all aspects of our three current fulfillment centers and guide this organization through a time of large-scale expansion.

The leader will work cross-functionally with high-level executives and functional leaders to ensure OHD Parts operational priorities are fully mapped out and completely aligned with the Company’s overall strategic direction and goals. The successful candidate will have the ability to strategize and collaborate in a team-oriented culture and have experience overseeing B2B/B2C distribution settings with multiple locations. This position will ensure that we provide excellent customer experience every day by putting our technology, marketing, and supply chain to work for them behind the scenes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Owns the development, leadership, and execution of the operational strategic plan for all aspects of the role to include fulfillment operations/supply chain distribution/sales and growth.
  • Working closely with the executive team and functional leaders to establish priorities for selected opportunities, set ambitious but achievable goals to improve efficiency and fulfill the company’s broader objectives.
  • Understanding the day-to-day operations, headcount, backlog, and service levels for the fulfillment centers.
  • Understanding the product line-up, the pricing approach, and the platform to grow the business.
  • Accountable for the overall financial performance of OHD Parts; develops the budgets, monitors performance, and ensures goal attainment.
  • Assist Executive team in planning, budgeting, financial and P&L decisions to enable the organization to reach company goals and objectives. 

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • 10 years progressive management or relative experience in sales and operations required; Sales Center, Building Product Distribution or Aftermarket experience highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Sales Center Operations leadership with five years of direct experience in multi-facility management position with P&L responsibility required.
  • 5+ years of e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, high-volume small parcel operations experience.
  • Multi-Site Sales Center Operations leadership experience is required.
  • Extensive customer fulfillment, warehousing, and materials handling background required. E-commerce experience preferred.
  • Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing experience a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical degree, Finance, or Business or equivalent experience is required.
  • MBA is preferred
