Position Function:


We want customers to become customers for life and by working with the customer we expect repeat business and revenue stream; this position will be assisting in securing new and repeat business.  A successful Commercial Technical Support Representative I candidate will assist our customer base by providing technical solutions, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial operators and products via telephone support. Will also perform follow-up calls to customer and potentially on-site visits which would require travel. Will serve to identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales. Field service experience is a plus. A candidate will be expected to have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry. This position will report to a supervisor or manager/director.


 


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Strong communication skills and computer skills are a must. Oracle experience is a plus.


 


Other Responsibilities:


As determined by department Manager/Director to support daily functioning of department.




    Skills/Experience Requirements:


    1 to 2 years of experience in the commercial construction or commercial door operator or similar industry is a plus.


     


    Education Requirements:


    High School diploma (or GED) required.


     


    Physical/Work Environment Requirements:


    When required, should be capable of lifting 50 to 70 pounds.
