Position Function:  The overarching goal of the credit department is to support the sales growth of the Company while ensuring that cash flow and credit risk are maintained at acceptable levels.  The Sr Credit Representative is tasked with ensuring the Company is maximizing cash flow related to customer accounts receivable through proactive customer-service, business-to-business collections, and order review activities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Business-to-business credit and collections.  Requires the use of collection tools, call prioritization, detailed call notes, and follow-up to ensure timely payment from customers on all outstanding invoices
    • Perform order credit releases in an effective and timely manner in order to meet customer needs
    • Perform dispute resolution related to customer invoices and payments 
    • Minimize risk by conducting periodic and timely credit limit reviews
    • Communicate identified risk accounts to management as required
    • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience Requirements

    • Minimum 4-10 years collection experience
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Show initiative in problem solving
    • International credit and collections strongly preferred
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work within a team environment 
    • Financial Statement Analysis 
    • JD Edwards, Oracle a plus
    • Strong MS Office skills
Education Requirements

• Bachelor degree desired
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
