The Position

The Business Analyst evaluates business processes, tools and technology; identifying areas of opportunity to create, document and execute business improvement plans.  Reporting to, and in support of, the Retail Installation Program and the Contact Center, the Business Analyst will work with various departments (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) to achieve efficiency within the businesses, create documentation/manuals and provide training as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete understanding of all systems used in support of Installation and Contact Center business
  • Collect and analyze data for potential business improvements (technology/tools/processes)
  • Identify specific business opportunities, make recommendations and facilitate implementations
  • Documentation of program procedures for all team members
  • Influence stakeholders to support business projects
  • Lead projects and coordinate with other teams to produce better business outcomes
  • Monitor team members compliance to established procedures
  • Test, implement, provide training on new programs or enhancements, as required
  • Other related duties as required

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide program and system support to management and all team members.
  • Research program procedural issues and recommend resolutions.
  • Operate computer terminal, using various sites to set training procedures and monitor team members’ compliance
  • Keep updated training materials.
  • Provide update or refresher training to team, as needed.
  • Testing, implementation, training on new programs or enhancements, as required
  • Other related duties as required

Skills/Experience Requirements

  • Exceptional management, organization, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to communicate professionally, both written and verbal, with management, IT staff and team members
  • Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-pace environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Three years’ retail home improvements and/or install sales experience a plus.
  • Prior experience with training and procedure adherence
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced team environment. 

 

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • College degree preferred

 

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • 20% Travel required
