Overhead Door Corporation company. Door Services offers installation and maintenance of the doors manufactured by Horton Automatics (commercial sliders, optical turnstyles, revolving doors, swinging / folding doors, etc.)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Physical handling of materials and loading trucks for upcoming jobs
- Delivering doors and materials to installers on job sites as needed.
- Final assembly of electrical controls.
- Fabricating doors and door parts to meet exact customer specifications and/or modifications to existing parts
- Maintain a safe, clean and productive work environment for self and other team members
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment is required.
- Prior fabrication experience required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read blueprints/fabrication drawings
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate basic math and read a tape measurer.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Comments:
- Understand the safe use of equipment and tools in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Need to be mechanically inclined
- Capable of working at heights to service doors and operators using ladders
- Driving record must be acceptable to insurance company.
