Position Specifications:

Direct division-level financial planning, analysis and accounting functions for a multi-plant and distribution center division including the efforts of a centralized team responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and management / board of director presentations.



  • Supervise ASD division financial planning and analysis and accounting staff with responsibility for month-end closing, balance sheet review and reconciliation, capital expenditures and fixed asset accounting;
  • Coordinate and develop the financial portion of the annual strategic plan update;
  • Lead the annual budget process;
  • Coordinate preparation of monthly business review packages ensuring proper analysis and interpretation of results is provided to senior management;
  • Heavily participate in monthly business review meetings interacting with all levels of management;
  • Oversee preparation of all BOD presentation materials;
  • Work as liaison with ODC Corporate Finance ensuring all reporting requirements are met;
  • Work closely with VP to identify key operating metrics and automate reporting via Hyperion Essbase;
  • Oversee product-line profitability reporting, and expense and cost analysis;
  • Analyze product trends, pricing, and discounts and communicate appropriately;
  • Oversee reporting of daily orders and shipments;
  • Ensure financial support to product business team;
  • Supervise preparation of project financial pro-formas for new product development teams;
  • Extract and report various economic and construction indicators for management, as required.


  • 8-12 years in financial management roles of increasing responsibility.  Minimum of three years prior management of staff and leadership required. Must be a self-motivated “hands on” leader not an administrative type.
  • Experience using Oracle financial systems is helpful.
  • Hyperion Essbase super user.
  • MS Office expertise especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent people skills; must be able to interact with all levels from plant accountant to Division President and CEO.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and effectively lead a team in order to drive results.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or MBA highly desirable
