Position Function:

The Dealer Compliance /Trainer Coordinator is responsible for program compliance regarding license and insurance for local, state, and national level.  Position will be in direct contact with customers, subcontractors, and employees.  This position reports to the Compliance Manager.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate listing of all current participating Dealers
  • Maintain an accurate listing of dealer compliance
  • Provide renewal notices to dealer network
  • Serve as first-line escalation point for dealer compliance issues.  
  • Work with management as required to resolve compliance issues
  • Monitor dealer compliance and correct issues 
  • Provide follow-up with dealers and team as necessary.
  • Involvement with new programs or upgrades to current programs
  • Administer Dealer setup for install programs
    • Contracts
    • License
    • Insurance
    • System
  • Technician background check compliance
  • Technician badging
  • Approved technician maintenance
  • Dealer and technician program training development and maintenance
  • Conduct dealer training
  • Dealer replacement setup
  • Dealer monitoring service level compliance
  • Obtaining licensing as necessary
  • Work with legal department as necessary
  • Manage any training issues
  • New program dealer training
Other Responsibilities:
  • Operate computer terminal, using various sites to oversee maintenance of dealer compliance
  • Provide dealer compliance support over the telephone. 
  • Take, investigate and solve dealer compliance issues.
  • Assist team to solve dealer/technician compliance related problems.
  • Provide detailed explanation of company policy and procedures in respect to Installation or Service program compliance.
  • Testing, implementation, training on new programs or enhancements, as required
  • Other related duties as required

Skills/Experience Requirements:
  • Exceptional organizational skills. 
  • Must be able to communicate professionally, both written and verbal, with end customers, installers, store associates and internal personnel  
  • Compliance/training related experience
  • Three years’ retail home improvements and/or install sales experience a plus. 
  • Prior experience with training and procedure adherence
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced team environment.  
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • College degree preferred
Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
  • Up to 20% Travel required
