The Position
The OHDirect and CPQ manager is responsible for implementation, maintenance and management of our customer facing price and quoting tools. Good communication skills and the ability to project manage are required. This role will work directly with Pricing Committee, IT, customer care and external customers to deliver an industry-leading customer experience to our customers. This position reports to the Vice President, Customer Care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Instrumental in the development and implementation of the OHDirect Plus program and subsequent CPQ application. 
  • Created the necessary workflow objects (Processes, Fields, Work Flows, Scripts, etc.) for the Requirements gathered from the application Owners. 
  • Lead the creation and implementation of training
  • Employing problem solving, decision making and risk management skills effectively and efficiently.
  • Involved in day-to-day guidance and training of team members
  • Ability to deliver a clear and concise training solution to our external customers. 
  • Strong logical skill to derive concrete software solutions.
  • Capability of suggesting ideal approach to implement business requirements.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work on new technologies as required.
  • Ability to learn things quickly and putting learnt skills to work in a short span of work.   
Other Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports.
  • Work effectively with Marketing, Sales and all other Associates
  • Assist with field issues as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by VP, Customer Care
Skills/Experience Requirements
  • Highly self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, committed to personal development and with the ability to think and operate both short and long-term.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone skills, as well as good listening skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with employees and customers 
  • Experience using current pricing programs (OHDirect 5.5 and 6.0)
  • Familiar with OHD and WD Products
  • Intimate knowledge of the Ribbons and success in communicating to this closed distribution channel. 
  • Preferred experience in the construction industry and processes, with the ability to manage large project with complexity
  • Must be a well-organized and analytical individual with strong math skills.
  • Must be a goal-oriented team player with a strong work ethic, who operates with honesty and integrity and honor confidentiality.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced/high pressure customer oriented environment with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • A motivated individual who is not satisfied with maintaining the status quo and willing to do whatever is necessary to advance in the organization.  A proven over-achiever with the willingness to move anywhere to advance their career.  Must have the potential to be promoted at least two jobs
  • Must possess a strong mechanical/technical aptitude and be good with numbers.  An understanding of the construction industry with the ability to understand plans and specifications.  
  • Must possess computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A risk taker, resilient with proven mental and physical tenacity. 
  • Aggressive, not afraid to fail or make mistakes.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.  Constant learning capabilities.
Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, Project management, with a preference for experience in construction and building products
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
  • Usual office
  • 25% travel
